Question
I have a btvoyager router, the two computers are upstairs and the phone line downstairs so it is not plugged into a computer. Due to the son being on wow all the time the speed of this is too slow causing it to lag. Please could you recommend a faster router that is easy to set up and reasonably priced. Thanks as I am fed up of being moaned at because he has been "kicked off" and am confused as most reviews mention router being connected to the computer via ethernet where as mine use dongles.
Answer
Hey Jan,
We would recommend any D-Link, Netgear, or Linksys router. When you go to buy a router, I would make sure it is at least wireless "G" speed. Also, you should be able to find one for less than 50 dollars. Also, I want to make sure that you have either a cable, DSL or other high speed connection. If you are on dial-up, this could be causing your son to lag as well (probably even more than your router choice).
