Microsoft to Unveil an Apple iPad Competitor

Microsoft is set to reveal a true Apple iPad competitor at next year's Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2011). This latest report adds some real information to the mix of rumors that have been going around the airwaves.

The company is eager to prove bloggers and industry analysts wrong for predicting that it does not have a good answer to Apple iPad. Microsoft is ready to surprise us by showing a tablet that runs on Windows 8 at the CES.

A beta of Windows 8 is not due until the end of next year at the earliest. Nevertheless, a tablet PC running on Windows 8 will surely ignite the needed effect.
