Microsoft Switches Ad Agency
It is popular for Microsoft to switch its ad agency almost every year. They made an ad agency switch in the summer of 2010 and now they are looking to make another change. They recently announced that they will be switching to Publicis Group's Starcom MediaVest. The contract is valued at $1 billion.
IPG's Universal McCann and Mediabrands group has been working with the company for more than 12 years now and the ad agency will still be in charge of Microsoft's ad-buying business in more than 35 countries outside North America. However, this new deal does take away a little bit of business from the company.
