Question
How do I get hp laptop to recognize new hd, hd is samsung and is 160 gb old one is 80 gb
Answer
Hey Craig,
The new hard drive should be plug and play. If this is your primary hard drive, you will have to install your OS and all your software on it before your laptop boots up. If this is a 2nd hard drive, then you should just have to plug it in. This is assuming you are using a WIndows OS.
