Question

I can't put my computer in stand by. When I select it, the computer stands by. However, when I turn my computer on again a blue screen appears and the computer restarts. Please help!

Answer

Hey,

This issue could be multiple things. The first thing you should do is write down the error code on the blue screen when it happens and then search google for the error code to see what it brings up. This could lead you to the problem software or hardware. From the sounds of it, it may be a software, driver, or maybe a hardware conflict. I would make sure your drivers are up to date for all hardware. I would also make sure your Windows is up to date. Also, recently, a friend of mine had this same problem and it was caused by him having 2 anti-virus programs installed. This is pretty specific, but if it applies to you, this could be your problem.
