Why I Like the iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S is a revamped version of iPhone 4. It is the best iPhone yet, nevertheless, Apple fans were a little disappointed when the iPhone 5 was a no-show. Yet, they can't help but be attracted to the new iPhone and all it has in its arsenal. As always, there is something mystical about the Apple Smartphone. The iPhone 4S will be available on October 14 starting at $199 on contract on AT &T, Sprint, and Verizon and the company started taking preorders on October 4.

iOS 5

iOS 5 is different from any mobile operating system you have ever used. iOS 5 has over 200 new features. A few of these new features include text macros allows you to automatically type frequently-used information by typing a short abbreviation, LED flash for alerts, and custom vibrations. As always with every iPhone OS, there are hundreds of thousands of applications available from Apple Store as well with iOS 5.

Siri

The Siri is an intelligent assistant that lets users use their voice to do a load of things. Use your voice to give a command and it's done. You can schedule meetings, send messages, place calls, and ask for just about anything as long as you got the application installed on your phone. Siri contacts the relevant application and yanks the information out for you.

One amazing thing about Siri, is its high human intelligence just like a real assistant. For example, you hold down the home button and say to Siri to tell your mother you are on your way to her house and Siri will do that immediately for you. You could also get GPS data on any country and do just about anything including searching for the nearest gas station. If you are thinking of a virtual assistant then iPhone 4S is the right candidate.

Other phones have voice commands that read emails and auto-dial numbers but none is as human-like in terms of intelligence as Siri.

Apple A5 is a technology designed by Apple engineers from the ground up that lets you play graphic games with no problems. The CPU is twice as fast and the GPU is seven times faster. Applications will open faster and run faster.

An 8-megapixel camera and a 1080p HD video recorder is the best you can get in a Smartphone right now. The iPhone 4S has features you can only find on professional cameras.

Accessing the Internet with your iPhone has never been easier and faster. With the HSDPA, your web surfing experience is the fastest it can ever get with an iPhone.

Improved Battery Life

One big problem I have had with all iPhones in the past is the low battery life. However, Apple has improved this for the iPhone 4S. Battery life on a single charge with the iPhone 4S is longer than any other iPhone on the market.
