I replaced a LCD screen on a Compaq Presario 50CQ and now the screen is white then goes to half white and half gray. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Hey,

The first thing you should do is double check that you ordered the correct screen. If you are sure about this, check to make sure the connection is not loose. Last, you may have been sent a faulty lcd. So, you may have to RMA it and get a new one. Also, it is possible your wires connecting the pc to the lcd are not working anymore. If this is the case, it is best to get a pro to fix this issue.
