Is it possible for a virus to be introduced to a computer with antivirus on and not get detected?

Answer

Hey Virus,

It is very possible for a virus to be introduced without the the virus software detecting it. New viruses are always being created and sometimes the big virus software companies have trouble keeping up with them. Make sure that you keep your virus protection up to date to help avoid this. Also, the virus protection software companies are usually pretty quick at getting their definitions up to date, so if you scan your computer often, I wouldn't worry about this too much.
