Is Mac OS X Tiger On Its Way Out?

Tickets for the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WDC) 2010 sold out days before the event kicked off June 7, 2010. Nonetheless, one question that needs an answer or is in the mind of everybody who has any business to do with Tiger OS X version 10.4 is if Apple will phase out Mac OS X Tiger? Put differently, would they continue to hold back essential updates for this version of their OS bearing in mind that the last time Mac OS X (version 10.4) was updated was mid-year of 2009?
